Dr. Farnworth, a graduate of Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her residency at SAUSHEC, San Antonio, Texas. She has been a practicing pediatrician as a Major in the United States Air Force for the past 5 years, primarily stationed at Fairchild AFB, in Spokane, WA. Dr. Farnworth grew up in Eastern Washington, and despite traveling and moving all over the country with the military, she still considers the Pacific Northwest to be the most beautiful part of the world and home.
Dr. Farnworth is passionate about evidence-based medicine and the connection between families and herself. "I enjoy the full spectrum of pediatric medicine, whether it’s ear checks, sports medicine, asthma, ADHD, upper respiratory infections or well visits. I love watching families grow and develop, and feel privileged to be part of the experience.”
She believes that medicine is a team effort between the physician, parents and child. Her goal is to make the parent and patient feel heard, understood, and respected, and she hopes that each appointment is fun and engaging for the child.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Farnworth enjoys snow-shoeing, hiking, bicycling, road trips to new places, time with her daughter, and sharing quiet coffee moments with her husband.
