Erin was born and raised in Sandpoint. She graduated high school at SHS, and went on to College at Boise State and then North Idaho College where she received her RN. She worked for a few years as an RN at Bonner General and also as a school nurse for Bonner County. She eventually moved to Liberty Lake Washington and had been there the last 15 years working at Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Erin and her husband love the lake and spend a lot of time sailing or at their favorite spot in Bottle Bay. They also love to ski, snowshoe and hike. They have three children that also love the outdoors and being on Lake Pend Oreille. Erin has a large extended family here in Sandpoint and she spends any time not working or on the lake hanging out with them.
Erin did her graduate work at Gonzaga University, and graduated with her Family Nurse Practitioner. Erin and her husband are super excited to be back in the area and enjoy being part of a community health clinic like Kaniksu.
“Working in a community health clinic means a lot to me. I went back to school with the intension of being able to help people. I wanted to work somewhere where they value the people that come there seeking assistance and we can help them regardless of their financial situation. Kaniksu provides a great needed service to the community and I am very proud to part of the team.“
