  • KCH Kids Club

The KCH Kids Club was created in 2022 to meet the childcare needs of our employees.  At the Kids Club we nurture the curiosity of each child so they grow in knowledge and are confident in their capabilities. We have a strong emphasis on early childhood education and evidence based programming, striving to nurture the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative development in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Our goal is not to simply look after the children in our care, but to provide them with the best possible start to their education and foster healthy development in these crucial early years, supporting the whole child as the learn and grow.

Our Curriculum

Our center uses the Zoo Phonics literacy curriculum beginning at 18 months. This program helps children learn phonics at a very young age so that all of the building blocks are in place for them to begin reading when starting kindergarten or even before in some cases.

We strive to provide a high quality preschool program for all children so parents can be confident that their child will be prepared to enter kindergarten without the added cost or inconvenience of enrolling them in a separate preschool program. All at an affordable rate. Note: we do offer $50.00 off per month for the second (or third) child.

Play based - Child Centered

Qualified Staff

KCH Kids Club uses programming that is play-based and child-centered. We work to foster independence and esteem in young children, supporting them by offering attainable, yet challenging personal goals. Our center is focused around proven early childhood education philosophies:
  • The belief that all children learn at different rates and in different ways drives our practices. We present material in multiple ways including auditory, visual and tactile and respect that young children need time, practice and experience.
  • We encourage social and emotional skills in young children by embracing feelings and emotions. We teach children with empathy and sensitive care, always being careful to understand the “why” behind reactions, behaviors and challenges. KCH Kids Club teachers help children with their social interactions as they learn to share, use their words, and negotiate.
  • Children are immersed in supportive and productive environments that are conducive to learning. Spaces are rich with literacy, art, science, math and music. They are spaces where children can make choices, try new things, and let curiosity flow and feel safe. Teachers use thoughtful observation to support and constantly be scaffolding children as they grow and develop.
  • Children are respected as capable individuals. They are offered choices as often as possible and encouraged to solve problems with the guidance of their teachers. In this way our teachers help to build self-esteem in young children.
Click on the links below for a description of our classrooms.
KCH Kids Club is staffed with qualified, professional employees who have been vetted through a thorough background check, certified in infant and child CPR and first aid, registered with IdahoSTARS, and are experienced and trained in the education of young children.

Continuing education is supported and required for our employees with the director working diligently to enroll in all staff professional development training throughout the year, especially training that will directly impact the care and education of young children.
