Heather is experienced in psychiatric mental health. With a focus on supporting mental health with both medications and non-pharmacological treatments. She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from Rush University in Chicago Illinois, along with a Masters in Arts from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts.
Her clinical expertise ranges from adolescents, women’s health, and veterans. She has been practicing medicine since 2005, where she started as an Army Nurse for over 6 years. Her clinical approach is authentic and compassionate. She is a fierce advocate for the needs of all her patients. “I believe that mental and physical health are equally important to one’s overall health. Mental health can impact so many areas of our life such as work, school, and relationships. My goal is to work with my patients to meet their life goals, through improving mental health.”
Heather’s interests are vast. Some of her favorite hobbies include line dancing in which she is an instructor, along with quilting, sewing, and raising pigs.
