Matt Bauer, PA-C
Family Medicine

Clinic Locations:
Priest River
Bonners Ferry
Matt Bauer attended Idaho State University PA School in Meridian, Idaho and has been practicing medicine for the past six years at the Northwest Community Health Center in Libby, MT where he gained experience in what rural community healthcare looks like. He believes teamwork, collaboration and integrated healthcare so patients have a whole team working in their best interests.

"I try to offer patients a broad spectrum of primary healthcare including treating substance use disorders, managing other psychiatric conditions, and offering minor surgical procedures. I am also working on becoming certified as a DOT medical examiner and am interested in learning how to incorporate HepC treatment into my primary care practice. I tailor my continuing education each year to maintaining and expanding a broad base of primary healthcare knowledge.”

When not it clinic, Matt enjoys outdoor activities with his family such as boating, hiking, snowboarding, snowmobiling and also playing sports when possible. He looks forward to providing patient-centered healthcare to the Bonners Ferry community.
