Paula specializes on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Bibliotherapy, grief counseling, and family system therapy, with a trauma informed care (TIC) framework. She received her degree from Texas Woman’s University and Texas A&M University and comes to KCH with over 22 years of therapeutic expertise in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief/loss, and attachment/relational issues.
Paula strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate environment for all individuals through an integrative and collaborative approach. “The most important foundation of my therapeutic practice is built on trust. Meeting you where you are, and moving forward to achieve your goals.”
When not in the clinic, Paula can be found reading, writing poetry, studying neuroscience and riding motorcycles.
